5th grade Discovery Students at Lincoln School researched explorers to learn about and find the True Discoverer of America. The students then presented their research and a debate to their class and parents.
Participants include: Cee Cee Schoemann - Hoei Shin, Brianna Brandt - Brendan the Bold, John Treat - Bjarni Herjulfsson, Jordan Feypel - Prince Madoc of Wales, Joey Kwas - Leif Ericsson, Jeff Kellenberger - Christopher Columbus, Nate Packer-Wells - Chief Howling Wind of the Cree Nation.
After the discussion, audience members voted. When voting was tabulated, Chief Howling Wind was named the True Discover of America.
