Come see the Cudahy High School's musical Oklahoma! on Aprill 2, April 3, and April 4.
Set in a western Indian territory just after the turn of the century (which is soon to become the state of Oklahoma), the high-spirited rivalry between local farmers and cowboys provides a colorful background against which Curly the Cowboy and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love’s journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road. Classic songs such as “Oklahoma” , “Oh What a Beautiful Morning”, “I Cain’t Say No” , and many others are performed by a very talented cast of CHS students. This show is sure to leave you “Kick’n up yer heels”all the way home!
