This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. Self-control and self-esteem are emphasized to help the students to develop a healthy view of themselves. In addition, the program is designed to improve children’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions.

All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. The testing process is slightly different from the youth and adult programs, as these students move at “half-steps”.

There is a $25 fee collected by the instructor upon promotion in belt ranking.
There is a $50 fee collected by the instructor upon promotion in belt ranking. There are nine colored belts indicating the level of achievement: (lowest to highest) white, orange, yellow, camouflage, green, purple, blue, brown, red, black.

A typical class will contain all or some of the following: warm ups and stretching, teaching of Songham style taekwondo, drills, demonstrations, forms, cardio workouts, sparring, one-steps, and self-defense techniques.

6:00 pm—7:00 pm beginners
white, orange, yellow belts

7:00 pm—8:00 pm advanced
all other colored belts

$30 Res. / $60 Non-Res. for Session 1 or 2

SESSION 1: Deadline To Register: AUG. 29
Sept. 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; Oct. 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28

These supplies included little wood sticks and wood glue.

The bridge breaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 10th at Lincoln School.
